Branding Bomb is a unique bomb relic in UnderMine. It costs 2 Minor Curses at Sho'guul's lair.

When a bomb is dropped, it marks all enemies in the room with a brand. All non-boss enemies that have been branded are instantly killed after 3 seconds and release a red mote particle that homes in the player. When the condemned time is over, one level of Brittleness curses is applied to the player.

Since the enemies do not die directly by the player, they will not affect some countdowns (such as Blessing Eater's).

These kills do count as bomb kills for Tsar Bomba making for a great synergy.

Branding Bombs used to damage the player before 1.2 when the red particles touched the player they would take 10 damage per 100 max health for each enemy killed.

Trivia

• The symbol resembles an inverted version of the Brand of Sacrifice that appears in Berserk, a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kentaro Miura. Its description also matches that of this element.
