Galoshes is a relic item in UnderMine.

It increases movement speed by +0.25 or 5% to of base and allows the player to jump and walk normally on oil. Landing after jumping creates oil slicks which can slow enemies down. Jumping while on fire or in a room with fire attack enemies is not recommended, as the oil slick the player creates will immediately light on fire, damaging them. Players also are not affected by poison pools, or electrified pools of water.

Interactions

Positive

• Combines into Helios Boots when picking up Lava Walkers
• Gives the player the ability to slow down enemies like Throwbo , Rift Wurm and Bobo

Mixed

• Salamander Tail: Lights enemies and any oil slicks they are over on fire. This can hurt the player if they do not have Lava Walkers.
• Firebird: Can set fire on oil which can damage both enemies and player.

Negative

• During Seer's boss fight the player can easily spread oil causing most of the arena to be on fire unless the player has Helios Boots
