Wayland is a character in UnderMine.

He is a blacksmith. The Peasant can buy various Upgrades from him with Gold, bring him Relic Blueprints, and craft the Blueprints with Thorium. Crafting more then 1 relic at once causes Pilfers to appear and steal one of them.

How to unlock

He can be rescued in the Goldmine by destroying a stone wall blocking the entrance to his room with a Bomb. Players receive the blueprint for Wayland's Boots from him when he returns to his workplace. The stone wall can be seen on the minimap.

There will always be a room containing 3 small red mushrooms following the player right before reaching his blocked room. This room will always contain a breakable box, which will drop a bomb when destroyed (it can be destroyed with the pickaxe).
