The alchemist that invented the unnamed substance, found in the barrels throughout the kingdom was greatly rewarded for his achievement. Years after his death the same substance was discovered in the Shimmering Caverns. It turns out the alchemist may have been a fraud, but there is no denying the effectiveness of his discovery.

Unstable Crystal can only be found in the Shimmering Caverns.

When it is struck by an attack it explodes in a similar manner to the Unstable Barrel.
