Ponzu's teeth are wrapped in thin scales that exude poison, making for a ferocious bite. Sometimes these scales are shed while feeding, or attacking a victim, resulting in the toxic scale. These nasty creatures spread their toxicity to other scales.

The Toxic Scale is an enemy in UnderMine. It attacks the player by leaping at them; if it connects, it poisons the player. Toxic Scales imbues the attacks of all the Scales in the room with poison until it is killed.
