Spate flies breed in dank, dark places, making the mines of Delvemore the perfect breeding ground. When agitated, spate flies will eject mucus covered shells to ward off aggressors. These shells can be ejected at surprisingly high velocity and can inflict severe damage to their targets.

It shoots one green shell, which aims towards your location at the moment of being shot, and keeps on going straight until it hits either the player or a wall.
