Description	A basic critter
Rats are found throughout the UnderMine in different forms. They are incredibly resilient and often carry dirt and disease. One summer saw a particularly bountiful harvest in the kingdom of Delvemore. So much so that storehouses saw huge rat infestations. In the autumn, the rains came and so did the fleas, carried on the backs of the rats. The plague was so bad that the simple rat received the name Death's Messenger.

The Rat is an enemy in UnderMine. They can also be spawned from a Rat Nest. Its speed and damage can be boosted by a nearby Rat Matron. It can sometimes be found inside shaking boxes; the rat does not attack the player and the doors remain open. Entering the room again locks the player in and the rat becomes aggressive.

The Rat chases the player when nearby, and attacks when close enough. There is a brief pause for the player to dodge or hit the Rat.
