Poison is an Debuff and Liquid in UnderMine.

Debuff

It is afflicted by Spiders, Wolf Spiders, Toxic Scales, Secretion Wurms, Bloatflys, Noxious Goblins, and Vilepots. If the player has the Venomous debuff, each enemy or boss will inflict the poison debuff. If the player has the Plague debuff, food has a chance to inflict poison on the player as well.

The player can inflict poison on other enemies as well with Crippling Poison, Blighted Barb and Toxin.

Liquid

Poison is also a liquid and can be found in large splotches or pools next to Blighted Barb as well as being the secretion from Secretion Wurms and is created in large pools in the Plunder King fight(except in Othermine).

Posion liquid will poison the peasant if they step in the pool.

It will also turn Ham Shank, Medium Rare Steak and Fish Kebab (uncooked meat) into Poisoned Ham Shank, Poisoned Steak and Poisoned Fish Kebab (poisoned meat).

Visual Effects

These poison patches have an ambient effect of creating poisonous gas bubbles that occasionally pop out of the poison pool making them animated.

They are also reflective, and will show a mirror version of something if it is directly north of the pool.
