Crossbowman are trained alongside footmen at the barracks. Early in training recruits with an affinity for the bow are separated out and put on track to be trained with the crossbow. While the two weapons are not entirely the same, they share the guiding principle of: aim and fire at the thing you want dead.

The Crossbowman is an enemy in UnderMine.

He keeps his distance from the peasant and shoots crossbow bolts that inflict physical damage at them. After taking enough damage, he flees from the peasant and shoots three consecutive bolts at the peasant.

The three bolts are aimed at where the peasant was while they were being loaded.
